Peppa sticks with HTI for 2012

HTI has renewed its licence for its range of Peppa Pig branded role-play children’s toys to 2013.

New products include a medical case, a pull-along vacuum cleaner and a tea party picnic set.

The deal, which covers the UK, was struck with Entertainment One, at a time when the BAFTA-award winning animation is now in its seventh year and Peppa Pig is currently the top-selling pre-school girls’ licence.

Andrew Coplestone, licensing director of HTI said: “Peppa Pig has been one of the most successful children’s programmes over the last few years and it is now a flagship licence in our portfolio.

“Signing this new deal has given us the opportunity to revitalise our existing range and to bring some new and innovative products to the market.”

We look forward to continuing our successful relationship and supporting HTI as it prepares to bring a fantastic new range of Peppa products to market.”
