Pip Ahoy! snapped up by Cartoonito and RTE

Cartoon Network UK has acquired the UK and Ireland Pay TV rights for Cartoonito, and RTE has acquired Free TV rights for the Republic of Ireland.Pip-Ahoy!-Still-300

A master toy licence deal has recently been signed with John Adams for the pre-school show and there will be more licensing and publishing deals announced soon.

Monster Entertainment showcased the Pip Ahoy! series to international broadcasters at Mip Junior and Mipcom in Cannes this week.

Pip Ahoy! follows the adventures of a puppy called Pip and his best friend Alba the kitten around the seaside resort of Salty Cove, where there is always an adventure to be had.

The series was created and is being produced by CHF Entertainment.

Voice artists include Sir David Jason, Teresa Gallagher, Emma Tate and Jimmy Hibbert, and the title song is performed by singer and TV presenter Stacy Solomon.
