Play-Doh Imagination Tour arrives at Westfield, Stratford

The Play-Doh brand is inspiring fans across the country to get creative.

The Play-Doh brand Imagination Tour is visiting cities across the country this summer encouraging families to be creative with the Play-Doh brand through a number of hands on activities.

Visiting four different locations, the interactive event will give kids the opportunity to experience creative play with Play-Doh.

Entering through a giant Play-Doh tub, children can head straight to the play tables where they can create anything they wish with the tubs of Play-Doh compound provided.

Next they can test their creativity at the Kitchens Creations station where they can make the wackiest food creations imaginable and role-play kitchen activities. Once complete, they can share their culinary masterpieces at the photo board for a special picture with the Doh-Doh character, an ideal keepsake from the day.

Visitors will also be given the chance to try out Play-Doh Touch, the immersive app that brings sculpted Play-Doh creations to life in a new virtual Play-Doh world. Kids will learn how to bring their creations to life, through building and customising their world.

Craig Wilkins, marketing director at Hasbro, commented: “We’re really excited to take Play-Doh around the UK this summer and drive brand engagement with both kids and the big kids who’ve grown up with it. Play-Doh had a great 60th anniversary year in 2016 and has given us a fantastic platform to develop the brand and continue inspiring creativity in children.”

The Play-Doh Tour will visit the following locations between July and September 2017: Westfield, Stratford – 26th-30th July; Metrocentre, Newcastle – 2nd-6th August; Bristol Balloon Fiesta – 10th-13th August; and Birmingham Bullring – 13th-17th September.
