Playmobil gets social in the UK

Published on: 16th May 2012

Playmobil has announced its UK presence on social media channels Twitter and Facebook, offering a new way for fans and retailers to engage with the brand and share experiences.

Social media is planned to form a key part of Playmobil’s marketing and communications strategy, informing customers and retailers of announcements, promotions and products.

Social media activity in the UK will expand on last year’s launch of Playmobil’s international Facebook page, and the recruitment of high-profile UK parenting bloggers as ambassadors for the Playmobil Playologist programme.

Jamie Dickinson, Playmobil’s marketing manager commented: “Social media is part of our day-to-day lives now and it’s a fantastic way for fans, and those wanting to find out more about the brand, to come together and share their stories. We are delighted to take Playmobil’s communications to the next level.”
