Playmobil opens the gates to new Adventure Zoo

Published on: 3rd February 2021

Playmobil’s new Adventure Zoo play theme brings animals from all over the world to children as the modular concept lets them create their own zoo.

With realistic designs, a modular concept and many popular animals, Playmobil says this play theme will guarantee hours of fun for young animal lovers.

The new Adventure Zoo brings animals from all over the world into children’s playrooms. With a wide variety of exotic animals and numerous expansion sets, the play theme invites budding zoo directors to create their own zoo and move in all their favourite animals.

The Large City Zoo has entrance gates, a visitor kiosk with souvenir shop and spacious animal enclosures. A raised viewing platform gives visitors the perfect vantage point to view the animals in their respective habitats; the giraffe with its newborn calf, young emperor penguins speeding down a slide or feeding time in the lion enclosure.

Extension sets are available to make the enclosures and viewing platform even bigger as children gradually grow the extensive zoo landscape. They are many animal species available so that each child can tailor their zoo to focus on their own favourites, with options ranging from from lemurs and meerkats, to larger species like hippos. Additional animal sets, including popular creatures such as red pandas and alpacas, complete the zoological around-the-world tour.

A Petting Zoo set lets visitors touch and feed popular breeds of domesticated animals, while the Zoo Vet with Medical Cart is on hand to keep the animals in good health.

The range is available now. For more information, visit the Playmobil website.
