Playmobil police car celebrates 35 years at Toy Fair

Published on: 21st January 2013

Playmobil’s Police range has a special anniversary to celebrate at the 2013 Toy Fair; this year marks the 35th anniversary of the first Playmobil Police Car available in the UK.

Over the years, the classic police car has undergone several changes to maintain its place as a Playmobil favourite. From a simple green car, in line with its home country, Germany, changes to the Playmobil Police Car include colour, shape and added technology such as flashing lights.

The new Police Car is part of the all-new Police Range launching at Toy Fair, where Playmobil will also be showcasing its 2013 offerings.  The new Police Range will feature a working alarm, break-out cells, vehicles and a bank with working cash machine.
