Sales have lifted by 10%, with the brand introducing licensed ranges for the first time this year.
The toy manufacturer posted results of €611m for the Playmobil brand in the last financial year, showing an increase of 10% compared with 2015. 70% of sales came from abroad, above all from France, Spain and Italy.
2017 will see the range include licensed products from blockbuster films, including How To Train Your Dragon and Ghostbusters, for the first time.
