Playmobil will be travelling to six of Hamley’s UK toy stores.

The Playmobil roadshow began its tour of the Hamley stores in Glasgow on 1st and 2nd July, before heading to the Trafford Centre in Manchester for this weekend (8th and 9th July). The roadshow will then travel to the St David’s Centre in Cardiff over the weekend of 15th and 16th July, Lakeside in Essex on 22nd and 23rd July, Regent Street, London, on 29th and 30th July, and finishing up at Hamleys Dundrum in Ireland on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th August.

At each event visitors will be treated to games, activities, play tables, a colouring in competition and the Twinkle Playmobil Fairy will be on site for a selfie with visitors and to hand out balloons to lucky youngsters.

Grant Yuill, senior marketing manager from Hamleys, commented: “Our partnership with Playmobil grows from strength to strength every year. The roadshow event travels the length and breadth of the country visiting six of our flagship stores in major cities in the UK and Ireland. Our aim is to bring the Playmobil brand to life, providing children and families who visit us with a fun-filled day out during the school holidays.”

Shoppers will also be able to purchase their favourite Playmobil toys in store, and for the events Hamleys will be offering 20% off all Playmobil toys.

Jamie Dickinson, marketing manager from Playmobil, commented: “We always enjoy visiting Hamleys stores and this event allows us to bring our toys to life for the youngsters. There is always much excitement when Twinkle is about as well so the events will definitely bring a smile to all visitors.”
