PMS International celebrates summer sales surge

The company is celebrating after having sold over 500,000 flags and related items year to date.

PMS-480Ruth Leonard, head of brand and licensing, enjoyed a live chat with James Whale on the BBC Essex Breakfast show, as they picked up on the positive news story of celebrations and events this summer. The discussion centred around the success the business is enjoying on the back of recent events, including the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations and Euro 2016.

Ruth commented: “Just this year so far, our flag sales are equivalent to supplying fans and supporters filling six Wembley Stadiums. With the current excitement of Euro 2016 and England’s winning performance, and the Olympics being less than 50 days away, there is still huge opportunity to celebrate and fly the flag.”

PMS International has sold millions of flags, bunting and celebratory items over the last 20 years from its head office in Basildon. Retailers are invited to visit the extensive showrooms both at Basildon and Manchester, which also showcase many outdoor and leisure items including camping accessories, water play products and a range of festival essentials.
