The Pokémon Company International has announced a partnership with KidZania for a Pokémon animation studio within its London experience.

Pokemon-wordpressThe Pokémon experience at Kidzania London will see children creating Pokémon animations using stop motion animation software at the bespoke animation studio. During their visit, children will learn about the fundamentals of animation and will be able to select a number of Tomy Pokémon figurines and props to produce their celluloid masterpieces.

Tomy will also provide the latest Pokémon toys from its range for Kidzania’s Redemption Store. The store sits within the KidZania City and enables children to purchase items with currency earned through participating in activities such as the animation studio.

Anthony Cornish, consumer marketing director, The Pokémon Company, said: “We are delighted to partner with KidZania London to create this unique Pokémon Animation Studio. The studio will allow children the opportunity to have fun whist learning about animation and how to create their very own movies using stop motion animation. We intend to make the partnership a success by supporting our activity with a B2B and B2C PR and social media strategy.”
