Pokémon teams up with CITV

The Pokémon Company International and CITV have launched a nationwide competition offering one fan the chance to create a 30-second trailer for the brand.

Pokemon-480Entry for the competition is via a downloadable form from the CITV website. Entrants are asked to provide a poster advertising Pokémon to their friends, a paragraph summing up why they love Pokémon and a preferred music style. The competition is open to children ages 8-12 and entries are being accepted until 6pm on 21st August.

The winner will visit the CITV studios at Media City UK in Salford to produce a trailer with experts promoting Pokémon Series 18. The trailer will be broadcast on CITV from November.

Anthony Cornish, consumer marketing director at The Pokémon Company International, said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with CITV to offer this once-in-a lifetime opportunity for a young fan to become part of the creative team and put their own stamp on the latest promotional trailer for Pokémon Series 18, which will be seen multiple times by CITV viewers in the run-up to transmission.”
