The e-tailer opened for business on the 7th February with a range of 2,000 products and a flat delivery charge of £3.95. It confirmed in a message on the site that it is in the process of integrating “necessary upgrades” needed due to “unprecedented interest”.

By the same token,, the online branch of Poundworld, was also temporarily knocked offline on its launch day due to high user demand.
