Power Rangers achieves no.4 spot in NPD data

powerranges480September’s NPD data is showing the brand in the no.4 position, with sales well up compared to September 2015.

Power Rangers has also moved up to the no.6 spot in the Action Figure category, experiencing double-digit growth of 42% YTD.

The official movie teaser trailer was launched on Saturday 8th October at New York Comic Con. The trailer has already achieved over 50 million views in a week, as well as trending across social media channels.

“Power Rangers continues to go from strength to strength in 2016 and is well on track to finish within the top five in the action figures category for the first time in eight years. With the movie launching on 24th March, there’s a lot to be excited about in 2017,” said Tess Parsons-Broome, product manger at Bandai.
