The brand has seen double digit growth ahead of the Dino Super Charge launch.
Power Rangers is already seeing success in 2016 with POS in double digit growth, with an increase of 26% TYD. The brand has now climbed its way to the number five spot within the NPD Boys’ Action Figures category for the month of June.
The brand will see new episodes of the TV series airing from 5th September on the kids’ channel, Pop. A new range of action figures, Zord Builder and role-play toys are also now available at retail nationwide.
To celebrate the launch, a comprehensive marketing campaign will ask kids to Find Your Power throughout the season, across multiple touch points. This activity includes viral videos in collaboration with the popular YouTube channel, Gorgeous. The 340k+ subscribers will be exposed to content that will showcase new toys, such as the T-Rex Morpher and Plesio Charge Megazord.
In addition to this, Dino Super Charge Rangers will have a temporary home on the Bin Weevils website in a six-week online campaign. The Dino Super Charge toys will be further supported with a heavyweight TV and cinema campaign, PR and press activity as well as dedicated licensor support from Saban across the season.
