Practical Pre-School Awards results announced

GP Flair, Little Tikes, and Jumbo Games are amongst the overall winners.

The results of the annual Practical Pre-School and Primary Teacher Update Awards have been revealed at a ceremony in Birmingham on Friday 22nd September with many UK toy companies being presented with Gold Awards.

Winners across many categories have been chosen after months of testing by childcare professionals. Practical Pre-school Awards evaluate products suitable for the under 5s while Primary Teacher Update caters for ages 5-10. In addition to the educational, childcare and book categories there were many toy related awards winners.

For Classic Toys and Games, GP Flair PLC romped home as overall winner with its Stickle Bricks Big Red Bucket, whilst the Little Tikes Fold and Go 5 in 1 Trike was named as the overall winner in the outdoor toys category.

Creative play for preschool was won by Jumbo Games for the Dessineo Learn to Draw and for older children the title was taken by GP Flair’s Mr Frosty Choc Ice Maker.

Further Overall Winner titles were given in the primary teach awards. Toys and Games went to Jumbo Games’ I learn to Read, and in the outdoor category to GP Flair for the Messi Football Training System.
