Timmy’s Seaside Rescue, the second extended length Timmy Time episode from the award-winning Aardman animation studios, sees Timmy and his friends taking their first ever coach trip to the seaside. While Timmy and his friends are busy building an amazing sandcastle, Timmy’s teddy and Bumpy are swept out to sea. They need a hero to rescue them – and Timmy’s the lamb for the job!
Aardman have partnered with SEA LIFE, the country’s leading aquarium experience, to produce unique ‘Timmy Time at SEA LIFE’ events that will be held at four UK SEA LIFE attractions from 21st July until 2nd September.
Following its CBeebies premiere, Timmy’s Seaside Rescue will be screened during the SEA LIFE events, along with character costume meet and greets, arts and craft activities and toddler quiz trails. Fans will also get the chance to enter an exclusive model making competition and win fantastic prizes. Activities will vary at different venues. Check www.visitsealife.com for full details.
SEA LIFE will be rebranding the existing rockpool areas with Timmy Time graphics during the campaign. There will also be a commemorative Timmy Time at SEA LIFE magazine on sale exclusively in SEA LIFE shops.
Aardman and SEA LIFE have also teamed up with Cuddledry, the baby bath towel brand. Timmy can be seen sporting his very own Cuddledry poncho in an on-pack promotion on Cuddledry’s UV Sun Protection Poncho Towel packs, offering 2-for-1 entry to SEA LIFE during the summer.
Timmy’s summer commitments don’t stop there as the loveable lamb has also joined forces with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) charity, the Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity (Skcin), and the Pre-School Learning Alliance to help promote life-saving beach and sun safety messages to young children, their parents and carers. Timmy’s Guide to Beach and Sun Safety will be available to download from the PSLA website.
