Preshow Noël Toys & Games 2023 brought together key industry players

The 2023 edition of Preshow Noël Toys & Games, the French toy industry’s flagship trade event, was held from the 20th to 24th of November.

Preshow Noël Toys & GamesThe five days of meetings in Deauville at Preshow Noël Toys & Games brought together key players in the toys and games industry, as well as manufacturers and distributors looking for new products to list in 2024.

This year, Preshow Noël Toys & Games welcomed 132 exhibitors, including 30 new companies, and almost 400 buyers representing 125 retail brands.

The French and international buyers who took part represented all retail channels. from specialists, multi-specialists, e-commerce, food stores and more. This year, the presence of new retailers covering a wide range of segments, including Amazon Europe, Asler,, Cinémas Pathé, Gémo, Jardival, Supra Center and Tk Maxx, proved how Preshow Noël can boost their business.

In addition, a dozen licensing partners, including The Walt Disney Company France, Universal and Paramount, also brought higher value to the event.

The key to the success of Preshow Noël Toys & Games lies in its unique format. Participants benefit from one-to-one meetings between manufacturers and distributors in private showrooms recreated for the occasion. The setting and premium working conditions also contribute to the success of this eagerly-awaited annual rendez-vous.

The opening cocktail evening, in partnership with The Walt Disney Company France, had a special theme this yearas the event celebratied its 20th anniversary.

A trophy was awarded to the 13 exhibitors who were there from the start and will still be there in 2023. Among them were Asmodee, Canal Toys, Cartamundi, Clementoni, Chicco, Doudou et Compagnie, Gipsy Toys, Joustra-Maped, Klein, Lansay, MGM, Nathan-Dujardin and Revell, who were honoured for their significant contribution to the event.

“The Preshow is the essential event for finalising the permanent selection and seeing the collections and trends for the coming year; starting the first Christmas catalogue selections, prospecting, seeing products from suppliers who don’t have a physical showroom in France,” said Pierre Violino from King Jouet.

Gaylor Cornuault, Clementoni, said: “The Preshow enables us to present our ranges in a very high quality way to all our customers in a short space of time.”

The next Preshow Noël Toys & Games will be hosted from the 18th to 22nd November 2024 at the Hôtel Barrière Le Royal, Villa Le Cercle in Deauville, France.
