The interactive workshop kicked off a year-long partnership between the company and Thorpe Park Resort.

THORPE-PARK-K'NEX-WORKSHOP-Last week, K’Nex Education and Thorpe Park Resort welcomed the first pupils to experience a new science workshop at the theme park. The interactive workshop, running throughout the year, uses K’Nex Education kits to explore the STEM principles behind rollercoasters.

Jack Du Pille, Thorpe Park’s resort education manager, commented: “K’Nex Education’s kits are an ideal way for pupils to investigate the science behind our thrilling rides through problem-solving, discovery and critical thinking. After enjoying the 3D learning workshop, pupils explored the theme park to experience the science of rollercoasters in real life.”

Paul Fogarty, K’Nex’s UK managing director, added: “Our 3D building system means we are uniquely placed to bring the excitement of construction play and coasters into the classroom. We’re thrilled that the K’Nex Science Workshop at Thorpe Park Resort is offering pupils a fun and engaging STEM learning experience as well as a chance to enjoy some of the best theme park rides in the country.”
