R2-D2 pumped for debut at Toy Fair

Bladez Toys is giving Star Wars fans a chance to win its new R2-D2 product from its Pump & Play range.

The item is set to be released in autumn and will be seen for the first time at the company’s stand at Toy Fair. The jumbo inflatable stands at 65cm tall and will retail for £39.99 which will include a foot pump.

Darth Vader, Yoda and a Storm Trooper will be added on later to the range with a remote control that comes with three different channels. Each can be played inside or outside with a self righting system which returns the toy to its wheels if it falls over.

Bladez managing director Iain Morgan commented: “We are extremely pleased to be working with The Licensing Company and Lucasfilm on the innovative Star Wars Pump & Play radio controlled inflatable brand.

“As a company we always strive to be innovative in our approach to products and business strategy which has lead us to develop a whole new category within the crowded R/C market.”
