Rainbow High expands Junior High range with six new dolls

Published on: 4th October 2022

MGA Entertainment has announced it will be expanding its top-selling Rainbow High range this October, with the addition of six new dolls.

Following the launch of Junior High Series 1 in spring this year, Rainbow High is set to launch Junior High Series 2 this autumn.

Junior High Series 2 features the original six characters from Rainbow High Series 2, including Stella Monroe, Bella Parker, Karma Nichols, River Kendall, Krystal Bailey and Amaya Raine – all as their younger selves. The collection reveals the origin stories of the characters, along with how they found their creative dreams which led them to Rainbow High.

Each doll in the new Junior High Series 2 range comes in its signature colours, is 22cm tall and features long, brushable hair, gorgeous features and long eyelashes. With their own distinct style, the dolls come complete with one outfit and school accessories, including a soft, fashionable backpack and journal.

The new launch comes as Rainbow High continues to dominate the fashion doll market and has seen immense growth since its launch in 2020. According to NPD data, Rainbow High was the number one fastest growing fashion doll property in 2021 and the number three fashion doll property YTD August 2022 in the UK, and the brand continues to build on this in 2022 and beyond.

Junior High Series 2 is the latest range to be added to the Rainbow High portfolio, following a year of strong launches for the brand including Pacific Coast, Junior High Series 1, Shadow High, Series 4 and Mini Accessories Studio.

MGA Entertainment will support the launch of the new dolls with a multichannel PR and marketing campaign, including influencer partnerships, social media activity and YouTube content.
