Rainbow High introduces new characters in Spring 2023 collection

Published on: 23rd March 2023

The new characters launch on 24th March and include Victoria Whitman, the first Rainbow High doll with freckles from head to toe.

Fashion doll brand Rainbow High, from MGA Entertainment, will launch six new characters in the Spring 2023 collection.

The new range will feature Victoria Whitman, Priscilla Perez, Michelle St. Charles, Olivia Wood, Kim Nguyen and Aidan Russell – dressed in stylish outfits and accessories from all colours of the rainbow. Championing diversity and inclusivity, each of the dolls has their own style, reflecting their personality, and features – and Victoria Whitman becomes the first Rainbow High doll to be covered with freckles.

Each doll features long, brushable hair and long eyelashes, while their fully articulated and moveable features allow for a wide range of poses. With their own distinct style and talents, the Rainbow High Fashion Dolls come complete with more accessories than ever for extended playability and imaginative fun. The brand new line of mini accessories include beauty and hair styling tools, mini phones and laptops, clothes hangers and much more. The dolls are suitable for children aged 4+.

Having been named Doll of the Year by the UK Toy Retailers Association earlier this year, Rainbow High continues to perform strongly in the fashion doll market. According to Circana (formerly NPD) data, Rainbow High is the number three Fashion Doll property and  number 11 Best Selling Toy YTD December 2022 in the UK.

Alongside the animated series – which has racked up over 1b views globally – the launch is supported by paid TV and digital campaigns, PR activity, influencer partnerships and social media activity. Timing will particularly focus around Find A Rainbow Day on 3rd April.

Pamela Justice, MGA marketing manager, said: “Since launching in 2020, Rainbow High has seen immense growth and is now one of the leading brands on the market. We’re extremely proud of the brand’s focus on diversity and creativity – values that have been at the core of its success since its launch and continue to inform both the product line and entertainment content. The Spring 23 collection is one of our most exciting to date and includes a range of new characters that celebrate self-expression and inclusivity.”
