Rainbow Toy Awards 2016 now open for entry

Published on: 9th February 2016

Any new product launches or relaunches for 2016 are eligible to be entered into the awards.

rainbow480The awards team recently made their eighth trip to London’s Toy Fair to announce that the Rainbow Toy Awards were open for entry, and are delighted with the response so far.

Award winners and highly commended products each year are featured in the live online ceremony and also in various consumer publications, plus hundreds of parental websites and blogs, just in time for the Christmas buying period.

Rainbow Award accredited toy testers test the toys and report back on playability, packaging, eco-friendliness, longevity and more. The awards are chosen by the children themselves, making the award logo an extremely credible piece of marketing for any company to use on their packaging, exhibition stands, adverts and any other marketing material.

Awards managing director, Peter Dawson, commented: “We enjoy seeing which toys children really love and go back to time and again, we also enjoy the fact that both new companies and large established toy industry names all compete on an equal footing – we never know which toys will enter and it’s always exciting to see who wins. The Awards increased again in 2015 as they do each year and we believe part of the success is keeping to our core values, ensuring that winning an award is a real accolade for each company. There are only a set number of awards up for grabs in The Rainbow Toy Awards each year and so winning an award shows your product is really loved by children.”
