The last Dornier Do 17 was recently salvaged from the bottom of the English Channel, and Revell’s latest kit is a replica of the bomber.RevellWWII300

The Revell Dornier Do 17 Z-2 kit is available either as a standard model kit, or a model set with paint and glue. Both kits are 1:72 scale, and are available now.

The real-life German bomber was raised from the bottom of the English Channel where it lay for 70 years after being shot down during the Battle of Britain. Believed to be the only intact example of its kind in the world, it has lain in 50ft of water on the Goodwin Sands.
