Ravensburger signs with National Railway Museum

Published on: 9th January 2013

Ravensburger has signed a deal with Science Museum Group Enterprises to produce a range of puzzles featuring railway posters from the National Railway Museum collection.

Anya Hollis, SCMG head of commercial development B2B, said: “We are delighted to have Ravensburger on board and look forward to extending the brand with an amazing range of National Railway Museum Poster jigsaws.”

The first three 1,000-piece puzzles to be released for 2012-13 are Yorkshire, East Coast and Wales. Each features three posters from the National Railway Museum collection, commissioned by railway companies in the post-war years; posters like these were designed to tempt passengers to explore British towns and coastal resorts.

Sarah Stevens, Ravensburger product manager, commented: “We were delighted to discover the amazing imagery hidden away in the National Railway collection. It’s ideal for the adult puzzle market, and we expect the range to be very well received by our retailers and consumers alike.”
