The latest introductions are fuelling the miniature trend on social media as kids and collectors showcase their Real Littles finds.

Moose Toys originated the “mini category” collectible trend with Shopkins and the introduction of Real Littles, lines of fully functional micro collectibles. As the latest additions join the collection, the company has reported “brilliant sales so far” in UK retailers. This hot trend is all over TikTok and other social media, with kids and collectors creating a host of content showcasing their Real Littles collections.

“The Real Littles brand takes favourite items and shrinks them down into incredibly cute, micro-sized versions that really work,” commented Moose Toys senior vice president, head of US Marketing & Strategy, Alex Ries. “Our first Real Littles introduction was adorable mini backpacks. They were an instant hit and flew off shelves. For spring, we have fantastic new backpack styles and went glam with a collection of on-trend mini fashion handbags. We’ve even freshened up old-school school lockers. They’re cool, customisable and fully functional, as well as a great place to store a Real Littles collection. All come packed with surprise working mini accessories.”

Real Littles Handbags sees handbags join the range, using the latest designer finishes and materials. Available in a variety of colours and textures, the spring collection includes a shimmery, sequined mermaid themed tote and a unicorn handbag covered in glitter. Each bag also includes six tiny surprises from a mini pen, coin purse and lip gloss to compacts, hair brush and a water bottle. There are more than 30 in all to collect plus the chance to find a limited-edition ring watch.

Real Littles Lockers are just like a school locker, where the fun is in personalising and customising. 15 decorating and accessorizing surprises provide creative inspiration; kids may find carpet, a chandelier, stickers and stationery among the surprises, which also include a working lock and an exclusive take along unicorn duffle bag.

Real Littles Backpacks are collectible, colourful, micro-sized backpacks filled with mini stationery surprises. Micro treats that actually work, from lunchboxes, glitter stickers and scented markers to stackable colored pencils, stamps and notebooks, are all packed inside. There’s even a working limited-edition mini calculator keychain. With more than 55 mini stationery surprises, kids can collect them all and swap with friends.

Further additions to the range are set to be unveiled in due course. “We have big plans for the Real Littles brand and are excited to continue to deliver fun, trend-driven minis we know our fans will love,” added Alex Ries.
