The fifth Istanbul Toy Fair will take place as planned between 28th February and 3rd March, with income from the show sent to earthquake zones to support victims.

Istanbul Toy Fair has reassured exhibitors and visitors that the show will open its doors as planned following the devastating earthquake, which has claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people in Turkey and Syria.

Spokesman Reyhan Alemdar said: “Istanbul Toy Fair will open its doors on 28th February with 192 brands, 158 companies and company representatives from 20 countries at Tüyap Fair, Convention and Congress Center in İstanbul as scheduled.”

He added: “The income from the International Istanbul Toy Fair ticket and parking payments will be sent to the earthquake zone to help earthquake victims. In addition, all the participants of the show will donate all of the toys they exhibited in the fair area after the fair.”

Organiser Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. has started a donation campaign for children in addition to its other donations and the company is sending plush toys to children in the earthquake zone.

Visitors are being encouraged to book their tickets now here.

This year, visitors to the show will be able to view a dedicated section of Baby & Mother Products alongside a host of other categories from across the toy and games industry. Held for the fifth time by Tüyap Fair Organization Production Inc, in cooperation with Toy Manufacturers Association (OYDER), visitors to the Istanbul Toy Fair can discover toys, baby accessories and equipment, innovative tech, hobby and art materials, educational and strategy games, licensed products and much more.

Owing to the nature of this specialist trade fair, the general public and visitors under the age of 15 will not be permitted entry.
