Reboot 2020 with the July issue of Toy World

Published on: 26th May 2020

Special re-boot issue offers suppliers opportunity to tell retailers about key launches for the crucial post-lockdown period.

Fresh, exciting new products are going to play a key role in encouraging consumers to return to the high street and shopping centres. With many launch plans having been disrupted or delayed in recent months, it is important that retailers know what your key new introductions are going to be for the second half of the year, when they will be available and how you will be letting consumers know all about these hot new lines.

In short, retailers need to know where you are going to place your focus in the second half of the year, so they in turn know which ranges to support and invest in.

So, we’ve decided to make the July issue of Toy World a special ‘2020 reboot edition’, giving suppliers the perfect opportunity to re-energise their autumn winter season.

You can make sure the UK toy retail community knows all about your priorities, so they can back them with confidence. Think of this July issue as a mini Toy Fair edition – it will herald a fresh start for the UK toy community, helping retailers to make the right selections to ensure they have the best possible second half of the year.

Advertising opportunities and editorial coverage in this section won’t be limited to specific product categories – the planned features for July will still go ahead, but this will be a standalone section which literally anyone can be part of, highlighting new products which will hitting the market in the coming weeks and months.

As an industry, we have fared incredibly well during lockdown, but the next six months will be crucial for toy suppliers and retailers alike.

I very much hope you will want to be part of this very special edition to help kick start 2020 for the whole UK toy market. It will be published on 1st July, with an editorial deadline of 3rd June and an ad deadline of 15th June.

We’ll be in touch soon to discuss how you can be involved but if you would like further details of advertising and editorial opportunities, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Toy World team to find out more.
