Following the news of its record-breaking Razor sales, expansion of Lego licensed portfolio and the new Halo die-cast range, Re:creation has confirmed further developments.

Toy Fair in January will see the official unveiling of Re:creation’s new corporate identity. Seth Bishop commented: “The original visual image of the company was created over 10 years ago and with the pace of evolution in both our business and the market over that time we wanted to update our brand to reflect the energy, creativity and passion that is stronger now in the business than it has ever been.”

Re:creation has also confirmed the appointment of its first sales director, Ian Wickham, most recently at BBC Worldwide and previously at Tomy, who will join Re:creation on December 19th to lead the sales function into 2012. Michael Lehrter said: “We are delighted to welcome someone of the calibre and experience of Ian to Re:creation and look forward to him leading our future sales strategy”

Ian joins Mike and Seth, alongside operations director David Laughton and finance manager Naomi Fowler as a member of Re:creation’s European-style management committee. Re:creation’s main board has also been strengthened with the appointment of three new non-executive directors from the fields of finance, logistics and television broadcasting.
