National Account Manager

AC HR Solutions is a Hertfordshire-based well-established producer and distributor of innovative educational products for the consumer market. With offices throughout Europe and the United States, its range of products are sold through high street multiples, as well as on-line.

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced account manager to further develop their “business to business” sales career.

Working collaboratively with the MD and Marketing and leading a small sales team, the right candidate will be responsible for determining and executing the sales strategy which embraces both the high street multiples and on-line channels, as well as the independents. “Hands-on” in their approach, they will own a portfolio of retail accounts, building relationships and creating the business conditions for sustained growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing and executing the sales account strategy
• Managing the detailed rolling 3-6 months sales plan, taking into account key variables such as seasonal demand.
• Relationship management
• Sales maximisation
• Team leadership and motivation

Demonstrating insightful financial and commercial analysis, they will work closely with other areas of the business to forecast and maximise sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
An excellent and persuasive communicator, they will have at least three years experience of selling to the retail sector, ideally gained within consumer electronics or similar. Excellent opportunities exist to forge a successful career in sales management and beyond.
