Reporting to: Operations Manager
Salary: (depending on experience). 3% Matched pension contribution, AXA Healthcare Plan, 25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
Hours: Full time post (37.5 hours a week)
Location: Conveniently located very close to Gatwick Airport (Parking provided). Nearest station Gatwick Airport with regular buses running to City Place near to the office.
Alpha Animation requires a highly efficient and self-motivated Operations Executive to join the Operations Team.
The Operations Executive is a vital position required to support Customers, Suppliers and internal departments (including Sales, Marketing, and Accounts as well as offering support to the General Manager).
Operations is central to the day to day running of the company.
The role consists of taking ownership of the logistical account management of national and independent customers; project managing their orders from new line form stage to getting stock onto the shelves of our favourite shops and internet stockists.
Working from forecasts the Operations Team plan the inventory phasing and confirm orders with our factory in China. FMCG require continued analysis and forward planning.
Alpha also supports its consumers with replacement parts, instructions and advice with products.
Alpha Animation has a strong partnership with its third party warehouse as well as external EDI Teams; these relationships need to be managed to ensure that Alpha’s services are delivered to its end customers.
Responsibilities include logistical management of orders from National Account and Independent Customers, liaising with its third party warehouse to ensure Alpha meets required delivery dates, analysis of stock requirements to forecast, supply chain ordering and phasing, inventory control, consumer support, internal administration support, general ad-hoc office duties.

Work experience & skills
• Minimum two years’ experience within a FMCG environment.
• Knowledge of IT business software such as Microsoft Office, Word and Excel is essential. Advanced Excel Skills in Pivot Tables and VLookUps would be an advantage.
