The Senior Category Manager – Loyalty, EMEA is responsible for developing and executing a long-term business strategy for the EMEA Loyalty category that leverages the richness of NBCUniversal’s entertainment content (past & present) to build a sustainable business that achieves annual revenue targets. He/she will be responsible for managing our Loyalty partners, negotiating agreements, driving innovative and quality product ranges, accurate quarterly forecasting and supporting retail sell-in of ranges.

Key responsibilities:

Partner management:
Loyalty lead across EMEA focusing on delivering loyalty activations with key accounts
Responsible for communicating out to EMEA territories the Loyalty strategy and information relevant to territories
Ensure timely product approvals in line with industry needs and with all Universal’s internal stakeholders (creative / product development team, third party approvers, retail team, category managers, digital team, etc.)
Accountable for day-to-day management of key partners including business reviews
Partner with the Product Development Managers EMEA – Hardlines and Design Manager to drive quality and champion innovation in product development ensuring lines are commercially viable for EMEA and meeting retailer needs
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, competitors, business opportunities, threats and dynamics for the loyalty category and key partners
Work on the creation of targeted presentations to pitch, support or launch Loyalty programs
Attendance and presentation participation in partner presentations
Regular attendance of trade shows and social industry functions where applicable – e.g. Brand Licensing Europe, Nuremberg Toy Fair and key partner roadshows

Finance and Business Planning:
Fiscal responsibility to include annual budget planning and quarterly revenue forecasting
Analyse business performance by partner and retailer and develop growth objectives and strategies
Brand and Content Management:
Support brand marketing initiatives including the development and execution of Loyalty plans
Define and integrate loyalty partners within wider brand marketing plans
Retail Development:
Monitor & guide retail marketing trends in conjunction with our Loyalty partners
Regular liaison with Retail Managers in the G6 territories feeding in local requests and needs to over arching regional strategies
Maintain knowledge of key seasonalities and buying cycles of retailers

Strategy:
Work with the EMEA Consumables Director to develop and execute long-term growth strategies for the Loyalty category
Provide input and communicate strategy for Loyalty across EMEA, ensuring to align with the larger franchise strategy
Develop line and segmentation strategy for key partners, maintaining a three-year roadmap, driving innovation, quality and age appropriate product
Manage a portfolio of Loyalty partners to grow the Loyalty business. Critically evaluate the partner base to ensure we have the right number of partners and best in class overall
