The singer’s next record will be entirely inspired by the 3D DreamWorks Animation movie, ‘Home’, in which she voices a teenager called Gratuity ‘Tip’ Tucci.rihanna300

Jeffrey Katzenberg, CEO of DreamWorks Animation, revealed the news during the company’s quarterly earnings announcement, explaining that Rihanna will perform new songs.

Home hits theatres on November 26. The music release is likely to coincide with the film, which is based on author Adam Rex’s 2007 children’s book ‘The True Meaning of Smekday’, a story about aliens from a planet called Smekland invading Earth to enslave us, with humanity’s fate up to an 11-year-old girl and her alien friend.

The animated film also features the voices of Jennifer Lopez, Jim Parsons and Steve Martin. The film is directed by Tim Johnson, who helmed past DreamWorks films featuring other pop stars.
