Rob Fort joins Asmodee as national accounts controller

The company has also announced that it has been signed as the exclusive UK licensee for Telestrations.

Asmodee has announced that Rob Fort has joined the company as national accounts director. The newly created position sees Rob heading up the board games & collectibles specialist’s national sales team, which is responsible for all sales to national retailers.

Rob has been involved in the toy industry for over 12 years, having previously worked for Tactic Games as UK sales director as well as his earlier role of national account and international sales manager for John Adams.

“I am excited to be joining Asmodee, a company that I have known and admired for a very long time,” Rob enthused.“As well as working with some of the best talent in the UK toy industry, I am looking forward to helping the team to further grow the business in 2019 and beyond.”

Alongside the appointment of Rob, Asmodee has also announced it has become Telestration’s new exclusive licensee in the United Kingdom. Originally published by USAopoly in 2009, Telestrations features a winning combination of simple rules and laugh-out-loud moments –perfect for families and parties.

“We have long been admirers of Telestrations and believe that the game fits perfectly into our new range of Party Games, ideal for larger groups of players looking for a casual game,” said Ben Hogg, marketing manager at Asmodee UK. “We can’t wait to get started and that begins next week at Toy Fair, where Telestrations will be a key focus.”Telestrations’ broad appeal has already seen it find success and it hasbecome a sensation over the years with players of all ages. Furthering the game’s growth is set to be a big focus for Asmodee in 2019.The game will be among the company’s most prominent titles at London Toy Fair on stand E109, as well as receiving pride of place in their new 2019 catalogue.
