Rubies will open a new northern Europe distribution centre that the company says will take its EMEA distribution to unprecedented levels.

With the acquisition of the new 35,000² metre warehouse near Venlo, Northern Europe, Rubies will open its latest DC and fulfillment centre, increasing the company’s strength in distribution and reach. Rubies says the new centre will enable it to stay two steps ahead and ensure it is unmatched in terms of stock holding.

The 35,000² metre warehouse is the latest in a series of empowering business expansion plans that continue to see the Rubies business transformed. Valued customers across Northern Europe can expect faster deliveries and an even higher availability of stock than ever.

Mike O’Connell, managing director at Rubies, commented: “With demand for our assortment increasing exponentially, we are continuing to invest in tech, infrastructure and distribution. Our logistical model allows us to fully capitalise on the multi-channel model we have established. This latest distribution centre is just one part of number of significant changes that are happening to underpin our strength in category and supply in European distribution.”
