Rubies to aid Comic Con Guinness World Record attempt

Published on: 19th October 2017

World Record attempt for largest gathering of Marvel Avengers in one place will take place Sunday 29th October at 3pm.

Participating in the record attempt is free, and 250 or more participants are needed to make the record official. Rubies UK will be helping out by supplying Marvel Avengers costumes to the first 400 people who register to take part. However, consumers planning on attending Comic Con in their own Marvel cosplay can join in and help make history.

There will be an official Guinness adjudicator on hand to verify the world record attempt.

Tracey Devine, head of licensing and marketing EMEA at Rubie’s, commented: “We are really excited to be attempting this World Record and what better place to do it than at London Comic Con in the run up to Halloween. Everyone has their favourite Marvel Avengers character and we thought it would be fun to see how many we can get into one place at the same time.”

If you would like to take part,  register your interest and choose your costume by clicking here.

Participants will need to pick up costumes at N8 in Excel from 1pm on Sunday, 29th October.
