In tandem with the announcement that Joel Weinshanker will manage Rubies global operation, the UK operation undergoes enhancements.

Tracey Devine-Tyley returns to Rubies as head of Licensing & Portfolio

As Joel Weinshanker looks to harness the power of Rubies employees around the world to maintain the company’s position as a leader and innovator in the design, manufacture, and distribution of costumes globally, Mike O’Connell, Rubies UK managing director, has been overseeing developments in the UK team.

Mike revealed that the company has been ‘working very hard behind the scenes.’ He commented, “It’s all about the team here; I am delighted to welcome back to Rubies Tracey Devine-Tyley as head of Licensing & Portfolio, and to congratulate Fran Hales on his promotion to head of Content & Marketing. It’s a very exciting time for both staff and customers of Rubies.”

Tracey brings with her deep knowledge of Rubies’ vast portfolio of licensed products, innovative thinking and an unwavering enthusiasm for licensing and brands, which Mike says has seen her become ‘one of the most highly regarded specialists in her field’. He added: “We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Tracey back as a key member of the Rubies team. Her insight and experience are invaluable, and she joins a reformed, dynamic team which continues to drive Rubies forward as a force within the industry.”

Over the past year, Rubies has moved to address the diverse challenges of a changing global market, providing its retailers with the opportunity to grow in today’s marketplaces and on its eCommerce platforms with the launch of a new, state of the art website. This reflects the company’s continued promise to offer innovative and sophisticated solutions, designed to elevate customers’ experiences.
