Rubies unveils new festive campaign

Published on: 29th November 2021

With Christmas just around the corner, Rubies will be making spirits bright with its brand-new content campaign, #AllDressedUp.

Rubies‘ new campaign will highlight and emphasise the appeal of a costume gift and how they are presents that can be used again and again. The company says: “When you give a loved one a costume, you are not just giving them fancy-dress; you are gifting them an endless world of characters, play and fun.”

At the forefront of the campaign will be all-new and inspiring content. The creative assets were captured during a photoshoot put together by Rubies and industry specialists, with a cast of 10 adult models and 13 child models, over a two-day period in a townhouse in central Bath. The group of professionals, which included two photographers, three hair and make-up artists and members of the content and marketing team from Rubies, captured the magic of Christmas using both evergreen favourites and brand-new costumes based on upcoming cinematic blockbusters. Readers will be able to view all of these and more across Rubies social channels and website during the countdown to Christmas.

The impressive social media campaign will also involve multiple giveaways and competitions, with some premium ranges up for grabs. A ’12 Days Of Costumes’ giveaway across social channels will be joined by polls, quizzes and other engaging content for fans of both Rubies and some of its most treasured licences.

Fran Hales, head of Content and Marketing, commented: “All Dressed Up is not just for Christmas: we see it as our 365 campaign to support key seasons across the year. With Christmas, costumes or accessories are mainly associated with nativity plays and Santa fun runs. We aim to flip this belief on its head, as costumes are in fact the perfect gift for kids. Like the Christmas meal trimmings, a costume can be the perfect accompaniment to any festive movie binge. We want to promote the costumes as the alternative gift along with the awareness to donate your old costumes, to be enjoyed all over again by someone new.”
