Sainsbury’s has replaced the head of brand communications position with a new role.
Former head of brand communications Mark Given has now taken on the role of director for planning positions. He is only working in the position on an interim basis.
He will take on responsibility for the supermarket’s Nectar loyalty scheme as well as forming “powerful and distinctive propositions”.
A new head of campaigns role will replace the head of brand communications position.
The changes have come about following head of own-brand marketing Kirstin Knight’s departure.
