Sakar wheels into a new category

Published on: 1st June 2018

Sakar expands toy division with all new line of wheeled goods and helmets.

Under its toy division, Sakar has entered into the wheeled goods market with a brand-new line of bikes, trikes, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, wagons, helmets, and protective gear– both licensed and proprietary.

Sakar will be rolling out several new lines at Walmart and other retailers beginning in June, just in time for summer. The well-rounded lines are filled with colour, incorporating features such as sounds, lights, steam, unique moulds, and best in class brands.

First-to-market will be the Fisher-Price line. Hero items include the Fisher-Price Corn Popper Scooter and Rock-A-Stack Trike and Balance Bikes. The Classic Corn Popper Walker has evolved into a ride-on scooter, which will help teach kids how to balance and ride a scooter safely. The tricycle is based on the classic Fisher-Price Rock-a-Stack toy and made for a stable and comfortable ride. The easy-to-steer trike has the added element of floating rings within the see-through front wheel hub, allowing the young rider to see and hear their progress with every pedal forward. The rings make noises as they tumble about when the child pedals. These soft, quiet tires can be used indoors or out, making for year-round fun.

Sakar is also introducing a line of skateboards aimed at the youth market and under licence from the world’s most renowned skateboard star and icon, Tony Hawk.
