Sambro celebrates trade show success

Last week saw the final Sambro trade show of the year take place at the toy company’s head office in Greater Manchester.

SambroThe third show of its kind this year, the event has established itself as an essential buying show for retailers looking for exclusive clearance deals at key sales periods throughout the year.

The event spanned two days with a steady stream of buyers visiting throughout the day. As well as Sambro, the show played host to 20 exhibitors who took space in the many showrooms at the Bury HQ. Exhibitors including Huggables, Trend Mania and Grant & Bowman also reported brisk trading.

Nikki Samuels, licensing director, Sambro, said: “When we introduced the Sambro trade event over two years ago we were concerned that buyers may be reluctant to travel to our head office. However, those fears were unfounded as we have fantastic transport links and a great product offering so buyers know it’s well worth the visit. Visitor numbers have increased year on year and our operations team have worked to ensure the event runs seamlessly. We will be running further events in 2016 and will announce dates in January.”
