Save the date! DreamToys to be unveiled on 3rd November

Published on: 13th August 2021

The hotly anticipated DreamToys 2021 list will be unveiled to journalists on 3rd November from a London location.

The Toy Retailers Association has announced the arrangements for the unveiling of the annual DreamToys list. This will take place on Wednesday 3rd November, following the TRA’s decision to continue with the format change that was adopted in 2020. For the first time, a preview day was held successfully on Tuesday 2nd November with all information embargoed until the following morning.

“During the height of the pandemic, the DreamToys committee took the decision to restructure the annual DreamToys event to fall in line with Covid-19 regulations and to explore the economics of the event in a difficult time for all businesses,” commented Gary Grant, chair of the DreamToys committee. “After positive feedback and widescale press coverage, the committee has decided to continue with the new format, inviting journalists to a preview event in London, with coverage embargoed until the following day when we will announce the list across social media, TV and radio.”

DreamToys 2021 will take place at Fora Space, Spitalfields, London, with more details to be announced in September.

In other news, the TRA has announced that Del Crookes will be stepping down as director general of the association and will be replaced by Natasha Crookes on 13th October 2021.
