Science4you sales triple in the UK

science4uu1The increasing popularity of STEM toys saw the company’s sales soar in 2016.

Global sales of the Science4you range increased from £10.5m in 2015 to £15m in 2016.

Science4you is a Portuguese- based toy company dedicated to the development of a range of educational toys which aims to stimulate children’s physical and cognitive development. The company, which was founded in 2008, was born from a final academic project developed by Miguel Pina Martins, founder and CEO. It currently has offices in Lisbon and Oporto, as well as subsidiaries in Madrid and London. It exports to 38 countries, and has developed an extensive range featuring over 500 scientific toys.

Initially launched in the UK at the beginning of 2013, the range is now selling through major retailers such as Harrods, Tesco and John Lewis. Miguel Pina Martins told Toy World:” Science4you enjoyed a phenomenal year in 2016. The major investment in innovation and line diversification have been two significant factors driving growth in sales across the globe.”
