Sequin Art, Mattel and Goliath are the latest companies looking to fill vacancies through Toy World’s popular recruitment section.

Sequin Art is recruiting for two roles, a UK National Sales Manager and a European Sales & Business Development Director.

The company is seeking an experienced, ambitious and quick-thinking National Sales Manager to lead growth and expand its reach in the UK. The ideal applicant will contribute to the development and implementation of the sales strategy with responsibility for defining key customers, range plans, promotional execution, and new business development. The European Sales & Business Development Director vacancy is an exciting relocation opportunity, located at the company’s new European HQ in Szczecin, Poland. The role will involve developing and implementing an effective sales strategy, driving performance and growth with a focus on the creation and management of a European sales structure for Central & Eastern, Southern, Northern and Western Europe. The succesful candidate will work closely with management to formulate joint business plans for top tier accounts that will stimulate growth and brand exposure.

Mattel is seeking an Interim Brand Manager, who would be part of a larger brand activation team, responsible for activating Mattel’s brands at a local level. The successful candidate would work specifically in the Action and Play team, activating media and retailer plans to ensure brand growth targets are met, with significant exposure to retailers, presenting Mattel product lines to them.

A degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) or equivalent relevant experience is required, as well as 4+ years’ experience in a marketing department, and experience from the toy industry / licensing industry would be ideal. The role will be based in Slough, UK.

A Brand Manager is also being sought by Goliath, as part of the UK Marketing Team and reporting to the UK Marketing Manager. The company says the ideal candidate will need to be organised, proactive and work well under pressure. Good teamwork and communication are also essential. A degree in marketing, business studies or equivalent qualification is required, along with 2-4 years’ experience, ideally in the toy/games/entertainment industry.

Working on fast pace, high performing international brands, the role will involve working with teams across the world. The Brand Manager will have freedom to make their mark on the brands they will work on, in a fun working environment with experienced and driven colleagues.
