The broad range features plush, action figures, role play, pocket money toys and vehicles. It includes a 12-inch talking plush and a Sonic Boom Launcher.

For apparel, Sega has announced that they are working with TVM Fashion Lab for the UK market to launch a range of adults and children’s t-shirts. The first of which will be available in Tesco stores from summer 2015. Initially launching with the classic Sonic the Hedgehog range, TVM Fashion Lab has also picked up the Sonic Boom licence. This is in addition to Sun City who have the apparel range launching in 2016, in France.

Jason Rice, director of brand licensing, Sega Europe, said: “Licensing Expo in Las Vegas provides the perfect platform for Sega to continue to drive forward the licensing programme for Sonic Boom. We are thrilled to already be working with great partners such as Tomy, Winning Moves and TVM Fashion Lab and are looking forward to bringing even more partners on board across all categories, expanding the programme even further with new business deals.”
