Selfridges’ top Christmas toys cover just about every category including plush, role-play, vehicles, construction toys and collectibles.

As the Christmas countdown begins, Selfridges has released its prediction of the best-selling toys that are sure to delight and ignite imaginations of all children this Christmas.

The list of Christmas toys comprises gifts to keep children inspired over the Christmas period and beyond once the festive holidays have finished, whether it’s putting culinary skills to the test in the Discovery Mud Pie Kitchen play set or getting outside to burn off all the excitement of Christmas on the Eco Micro Scooter.

Selfridges’ top picks for 2022 are:

  • Honey and Rose Bunnies (Jellycat)
  • Discovery Mud Pie Kitchen play set (Plum)
  • Face Puzzles (Little Omo)
  • Micro Scooter, Eco Mini Mint (Micro)
  • Squishmallows 20” Avocado (Jazwares)
  • Vanity Table and Stool wooden furniture set (Le Toy Van)

  • FAO Porsche Taycan Turbo RC (FAO Schwarz)

Four of the toys on the list – the Micro Scooter, kitchen play set, face puzzles and vanity table and stool – are highlighted by the retailer as ‘Project Earth’ toys, reflecting consumers’ ongoing desire for products that are eco-friendly and sustainable.

The scooter is made from discarded fishing nets, the vanity table and stool from sustainably sourced materials, while the kitchen play set and face puzzles are made from FSC-certified wood.

The top picks from 2021 included Character Options’ Jiggly Pets Tan Tan the Orangutan, the Paw Patrol Movie Ultimate City Tower from Spin Master and the Barbie Transforming SUV from Mattel.
