Sesame Street’s Abby Cadabby flies onto Five

A new animation featuring Sesame Street’s Abby Cadabby has just begun airing on Channel 5’s popular Milkshake! Kids’ block.

Abby’s Flying Fairy School is a CGI animation from Sesame Workshop that follows Abby as she goes to Fairy School.

The series has enjoyed considerable acclaim, picking up the Best Animated Series award in the pre-school category, and Best Pre-school Programme in the viewer’s choice category at the 2012 Kidscreen Awards.

It will air every Saturday and Sunday on Milkshake!, and has a licensing programme which includes Hasbro for master toy.

Vickie O’Malley of CPLG says: “Abby’s Flying Fairy School is such a lovely show – both the scripts and the animation are of the highest quality, and it teaches preschoolers that by working together they are able to solve problems. It is sure to be a big hit with little ones and parents alike.”
