Sesame Street’s Elmo and Cookie Monster among latest Tonies additions

Tonies is adding more much-loved characters to its range in the run-up to the festive season.

Elmo and Cookie Monster will be joining the range to build the Sesame Street Tonies collection. Elmo’s sunny disposition is infectious in this collection of songs, stories and interactive sketches. Listeners can sing-along with Elmo’s renditions of popular nursery rhymes and children’s songs, including Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, and Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes.

Kids can also immerse themselves in the world of Sesame Street’s greediest Muppet, Cookie Monster, as his constant craving for cookies takes them on a journey of catchy songs and sage advice on healthy eating. While best known for his love of cookies and famous phrases Me want cookie! and Om nom nom nom, Cookie Monster also shares an awareness of nutritious food, enjoying fruits and vegetables too. Both Sesame Street Tonies are suitable for ages 3+

Book lover Princess Belle is the latest addition to the Disney Tonies collection, featuring an immersive interactive story of the classic Beauty and The Beast tale which also provides young listeners with songs to sing along to. The tale follows the adventures of Belle as she encounters the Beast, who has fallen under the spell of a wicked enchantress. Suitable for 4+.

The rebellious but down to earth explorer, Pippi Longstocking, created by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren has become a role model for generations, and through the new engaging Tonies audio content, little ones can experience the wild and unique spirit of Lindgren’s wonderful tales.

Pippi Longstocking lives in a house with a horse, a monkey, a suitcase full of gold. With no grown-ups to tell her what to do, she has been gifted with superhuman strength, A rebellious yet sweet young girl, full of crazy ideas, Pippi is suitable for ages 4+.

The Tonies and Tonieboxes operate through a wireless digital system which connects to an NFC chip within each Tonie using Wi-Fi. Each Tonie is beautifully hand painted, making them desirable and collectable.
