Co-produced by CBeebies and Sesame Workshop, The Furchester Hotel is about a close-knit family of Muppet monsters who own and operate an almost-world-class hotel. Starring a new family of monsters, as well as Elmo and the Cookie Monster, the show aims to promote creative problem solving for pre-schoolers. The Furchester Hotel television show launched on Friday 26th September at 5pm on CBeebies.
Penguin will launch its publishing programme under the Ladybird imprint in Summer 2015. The range will be aimed at 3-6-year-olds and include story, activity, character and novelty titles. Richard Haines, acquisitions and new business manager Penguin Children’s, acquired world rights all languages, excluding North America, from Copyright Promotions Licensing Group.
