The toy industry veteran says she is looking forward to spearheading the international evolution of Just Play.
Just Play is adding to its leadership team with the appointment of Shari Mann as the company’s head of International.
Founded by two toy industry veterans, Charlie Emby and Geoffrey Greenberg in 2010, Just Play has risen to a top 10 toy company, according to NPD, for the past five years.
Shari Mann brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role with almost 20 years in the toy industry focusing on international business. Shari started her toy career in 2003 working for Charlie Emby, co-CEO of Just Play, as the International sales manager at Play Along. In 2013, she joined Just Play as vice president of International Sales and had an integral role in developing the company’s international business relationships until 2016.
Shari says she is enthusiastic to reconnect with the Just Play team and bring her expertise in global sales, marketing and partnerships to meet current and future business needs. “I’m freshly inspired by the growth opportunities ahead, and look forward to spearheading Just Play’s international evolution, while continuing to deliver a high level of service to our customers and licensors,” she commented.
Prior to returning to Just Play, Shari was executive vice president & general manager of International at Capital Brands, part of the De’Longhi Group, leading Nutribullet’s global expansion across 20+ countries post acquisition.
Just Play is a global leader across a broad range of children’s consumer goods including figures, playsets, dolls, plush, role-play and dress-up, creating unique and innovative proprietary lines, as well as award-winning products based on popular children’s entertainment brands with best-in-class licensing partners.
The company recently signed a deal with the Sesame Street brand. As new master toy partner, Just Play will produce a range of toys designed to support children’s learning and development.
