During the successful first term, the toys have appeared on shelves across key territories including the UK, France, Germany and Australia. Most recently the US joined the list of territories, with the exclusive March launch at Toys R Us receiving strong consumer response.

Silvergate Media’s animated series Octonauts (92 x 11’ and 6 x 22’ specials) has been well received globally, sold in over 100 territories and broadcasting on CBeebies in the UK, the Disney Junior block on Disney Channel in the US, ABC Australia and SuperRTL’s Toggolino in Germany.

Mary Durkan, CEO at Silvergate Media, said: “The fast-paced, adventure-filled and educationally-rich world of the Octonauts has been hugely popular with both audiences and licensees, and we are delighted to be continuing our thriving partnership with Fisher-Price. The extension of the master toy deal will build on the fantastic broadcast platform and support we have with our international broadcast partners and will bring Octonauts toys and adventures into the homes of millions more children.”

Silvergate Media holds all audio visual and worldwide licensing and merchandising rights to Octonauts.
